 So it seems the issue is that `keyring/xz.gpg` does not contain any key.
 This command outputs nothing:
 {{{
 $ gpg --no-default-keyring --keyring keyring/xz.gpg --list-keys
 }}}

 And the size of the file is only 32 bytes.
