 first two PRs merged, woot!

 third PR seems blocked on a weird code coverage issue but i don't see why
 that happens...

 the puppet refactoring work was agreed on, and I filed
 https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/MODULES-10555 to cover the naming
 convention change.
