Comment:

 For the record, arma, not true. I did/do mean the (on-line) browser
 manual, as that's what I referenced in editing TOR in the past.

 Running under Windows, not Linux, so no man page involved.

 In the previous versions of TOR (prior to 8.5.1), it used to be quite
 valid to edit the torrc file and append {{{NoOnionTraffic}}} to the end of
 {{{SocksPort 9050}}} (ie: {{{SocksPort 9050 NoOnionTraffic}}}), restart
 TOR and have it behave as expected.

 But things have changed now (no separate control settings), and the torrc
 file has little effect anymore. However, [https://www.torproject.org/docs
 /tor-manual.html.en#SocksPort] still lists {{{NoOnionTraffic}}} as a valid
 **Isolation flag**.

 At the very least, I would think that the entire area of {{{SocksPort}}}
 in the on-line manual should be updated. The solution given in
 [/ticket/30803] to use {{{about:config}}} is listed **nowhere** in the on-
 line manual. So how can anyone rely on it for accuracy? I can understand
 if the documentation is now obsolete and for some older version of TOR,
 but as I said in the past this was my go-to document. If this is the
 case, shouldn't there be newer documentation covering what's possible via
 {{{about:config}}}?
