Comment:

#27841 was merged in the following version: tor-0.3.5.5-alpha. Meaning
that 040, 041 and 042 all have the fix.

#31549 makes it that dirauth will reject everything EOL and unsupported
versions in the 035 series (LTS) that is <= `tor-0.3.5.6-rc`.

The still maintained LTS 029 doesn't have HSv3 so this is not a problem,
 relays don't advertise `HSIntro=4`.

 So arma's statement is correct:

 > It might be that we have nothing to fix here, once we've bumped out all
the obsolete relays from the network, and instead we should just keep in
mind for the future that this situation is what protovers were meant for.

arma: Is there any action items here or we can close this? (Unclear from
the description if we need to change code?)

We should definitely use this approach to reject still supported _buggy_
 versions in the future.
