Comment:

 I left a few minor comments on the pull request, feel free to rebase and
 edit existing commits to fix them.

 I checked the coverage loss, it did seem spurious.

 Do we need to backport this change to 0.2.9 and later?
 We're going to be running tests on 0.2.9 for the next 3 months, and 0.3,5
 for the next 2 years.
