 the majority of users (by far) but it's an important use-case we support
 at least.

 Okay yes, so that's a quite similar situation to Tails and Whonix, except
 that the control port filter might not be present.  It should be feasible
 to patch Electrum-NMC to handle this use case, though it's probably not
 going to happen immediately.
