 Thanks. Okay, you get sometimes this error on "safer"/"safest" as the
 security slider level. Does this happen with the slider set to "default"
 as well?

 Could you try to disable/uninstall Avira (or configure it to make an
 exception for Tor Browser) to test whether that is indeed interfering with
 Tor Browser and causing it to crash?
