 Stem alternative I dev'd: https://github.com/cretz/bine (appears a few
 months stale, but I actively maintain it...also listed at
 https://stem.torproject.org/faq.html#are-there-any-other-controller-
 libraries)

 Common approach for some tech is an "awesome list" ala lists at
 https://github.com/sindresorhus/awesome but of course requires active
 curation though its easy for others to submit GH issue/PR to add their
 projects.
