If there is any possible reason to not spoof the user agent, why not do
that only at lower security levels? Assuming we fix the browser so it
actually spoofs when we tell it to spoof, we can get the best of both
worlds by still preventing those who have JS disabled and do not expect
advanced / active fingerprinting attacks from inadvertently leaking more
identifying information about their system.
Does that sound like an acceptable idea?
