Comment:

 Hm. I wonder if you can pin it down to some steps to reproduce. Does the
 log in the terminal show something in those cases (setting
 `extensions.torbutton.logmethod` to `0` and
 `extensions.torbutton.loglevel` to `3` might give some insights, note that
 this is broken in the alpha until the fix for #28039 lands)?
