 hm, yeah. I wouldn't recommend that configuration, but you're right that
 we should fix it sooner or later.  If somebody wants to adapt the patch
 from 4fd761a418558c05716b4a04a5306dc67ce53dfe for #26913 so that it covers
 KeyDir as well, that would be great.
