Comment (by mcs):

 The doorhanger delay is controlled by the pref `app.update.promptWaitTime`
 which is defined in browser/branding/official/pref/firefox-branding.js

 The badge delay is controlled by `app.update.badgeWaitTime` in that same
 file.
