 I think we dropped support for Gmail a while back because none of the
 solutions for Gmail over Tor work anymore for all users (even after giving
 a phone number to Google), so closing this ticket.

 I wish we could support Gmail for the reasons sajolida mentioned but the
 problem is that even if we fix the JavaScript issue (by enabling it when a
 Gmail account is being configured and disabling it afterwards), it still
 doesn't help solve the problems users have with Gmail over Tor.
