Comment:

 There are already sample torrc files in the tor repository. They are in
 tor/src/config/torrc*

 This appears to be a copy of that file, with minor edits.
 I'm not sure how distribution-specific files help, or if they belong in
 the tor repository.

 The relay guide would be another place to consider contributing
 distribution-specific configs:
