Comment:

 I don't currently have a set up for packaging and testing backports and
 it's going to be more than a week before I do, so returning this to
 metrics-team for now.

 If you pick this up, I notice that checkstyle 8.11 is now released while
 Debian has 8.8 in unstable. The d/watch needs to be updated to look at
 GitHub releases instead of the SF downloads.

 libsaxonhe-java needs to be at least 9.8 in backports in order to have
 ArrayIterator.OfNodes (or patch around it). There may be other dependency
 issues.

 Adding keywords in case someone is searching for Debian packaging things
 they could help with.
