 And here's an update from my relay logs. The defences seem to be working:

 connections, 45xxx v2 connections, 70xxx v3 connections, and 80xxxx v4
 connections.
 [notice] DoS mitigation since startup: 68xxxxxx circuits rejected, 4xx
 marked addresses. 98xxxx connections closed. 18xx single hop clients
 refused.
