 Yes indeed, the initial page https://check.torproject.org - sorry, I
 should have specified the URL.

 Thanks for the info on the address bar Onion, I didn't know this so looked
 in HELP which is usually where such useful info is.

 It seems that overseas users need a way to get TOR to specify a US
 location so those sites that ban European visitors can still be opened. is
 this at all possible currently? If yes, then please also document in HELP,
 if not then it would be very useful if you would please add this
 facility...
