Comment (by pabs):

 The issue is on the user side rather than on the browser side.

 They were expecting to visit a website anonymously but instead got the
 website self-censoring itself.

 Or they are from the EU and were using the Tor Browser to workaround the
 website self-censorship encountered from another browser and were hoping
 to bypass that self-censorship but just encountered more self-censorship
 and probably have no idea how to get a non-EU exit.
