 hooktube didn't work for me. It reverted back to youtube embed for all of
 the videos I was trying to watch. The embeded video gave the same old
 error static TV look. I got one of these two messages on hooktube:

 Sorry! Both the streams tested for this video had an http error code and
 can't be leeched. Reverting to normal youtube embed.

 Sorry! The streams for this video either weren't found (unfinished
 livestream?) or returned an unusual http code; reverting to normal youtube
 embed.

 The videos I'm trying to watch were livestreams but have ended. youtube-dl
 -F gives the usual list of available formats.
