Comment:

 Sorry, I didn't intend to cause confusion.  I don't need a new password
 for the list (I only mentioned it to point out that this is not urgent for
 me), but noticed that normal subscribers couldn't retrieve a new password
 via the options page at that time.

 I just re-tested this and metrics-team list worked as expected.
