 I use windows defender for antivirus. ipVanish is being used as it was
 recommended for better security than tor alone.  I have not received an
 firewall notifications that Tor is being blocked.  I am in a hotel and
 using their ISP.

 Haven't tried the alpha but I will give it a shot. Thanks
