 In order to reproduce the case where the hidden service becomes
 unavailable and does not recover:

 - have a relay with Guard flag that you control, take its fingerprint;
 - edit the '''state''' file of the Tor client instance where the hidden
 service is hosted and change the `confirmed_idx=0` fingerprint with the
 fingerprint of your own Guard;
 - shut down the guard relay temporarily (do not touch its fingerprint /
 identity);
 - wait for the valid descriptor for this guard that is in use on the Tor
 client instance to expire;
