 I have an Apple MacBook Pro made in 2010. This is model MacBookPro6,2

 This model has 2 graphics processors, the Intel CPU (which works) and an
 NVIDIA GeForceTeslaGL card (which is a problem). The NVIDIA card on
 MacBooks from 2010 to 2012 either fails with age, or has become unable to
 process newer graphics, and causes the Macbook to crash. I downloaded an
 app that disables the NVIDIA graphics card, and the Macbook does not
 crash, but Torbrowser crashes. I sent in several crash logs, but no one
 could replicate the result (one must be running a Macbook pro from 2010 -
 2012).

 The chip seems to be getting worse. And Tor crashes if the NVIDIA chip is
 disabled.

 This happens with certain sites (like the Guardian cartoon pages) if I
 open multiple tabs, and sometimes with just one or two tabs open.

 I am running Capitan 10.11.6 with 8 GB of memory.

 Torbrowser is 6.5.2 (based on Mozilla Firefox 45.9.0)
