 Oh, did I make such a promise 2 years ago? :) Alright!

 The linked patch 701f0a7 looks okay, with two nitpicks:
  - In `compass.py`, better write `help="select only relays matching
 REGEX"` to reference the `metavar`.
  - On `templates/index.html`, just write `placeholder=".*"`, as the
 `string` part will probably look displaced there.

 However, I noticed that the patch is not based on
 [https://gitweb.torproject.org/compass.git/log/ Tor's master] and that
 there are about a dozen other commits in [https://github.com/nusenu/tor-
 compass/commits/master nusenu's master]. Is this version of Compass
 running somewhere public? Should we look into reviewing them all and
 possibly merging them back into Tor's master and deploying them on
 https://compass.torproject.org/?

 Are there users who would care about this effort?
