Comment:

 Proposal 271 is now closed, and a new guard-spec.txt describes our guard
 behavior in detail.  The path-spec.txt section that once described guard
 selection has been removed.  All this as of
 6fddd69ec0671f1b83294c1a4f15d281368aea86.
