Comment:

 A good place for the first question would be our tor-talk mailing list. I
 guess a lot of its subscribers could be interested in a discussion about.

 Regarding your second one: That is a relic of the old Torbutton days and
 is gone in the Torbutton that is shipped in out alphas and will be gone in
 the next stable as well.
