Comment:

 Yes, this is looking good.

 Merged this to master, and merged the spec branch to torspec.

 Now we just need a patch for control-spec, and we can call this finished!
 (Please either open a separate ticket for that, or make this ticket
 "assigned" again -- either one is fine with me.)
