 Would there be any interest in setting a default path to torrc ( i.e.
 /usr/share/tor/tor-service-defaults-torrc, /etc/tor/torrc, /etc/tor.d ) I
 think this would cause less confusion ( simplicity ). Also other
 projects/devs try to mirror Tor defaults, and for good reason ( obvious
 why ). This would lead to better continuity.

 I understand its not as simple as "This /path/to/torrc is now the default"
 but I think its something that should be on the road map for the future.
