Comment (by teor):

 The options tests are unfortunately quite fragile, because they depend on
 the exact log output. (For example, they could be failing simply because
 the platform name is different.)

 It might help to have a unit test log at a useful verbosity level.
 Try `src/test/test --debug` or similar.
