 This is probably because we are setting this pref in TorBirdy (in
 `components/torbirdy.js`):

 On one hand, I guess we can support Twitter even though it is not directly
 related to TorBirdy but on the other, if you want to use Twitter or XMPP
 safely, there is Tor Messenger does a bunch of other stuff as well and is
 more safer.

 I am going to mark this as closed because now you know the issue, and it's
 unlikely that we plan to support chat functionality with TorBirdy.
