Comment:

 This works for me, albeit with warnings against openssl master because
 they changed the function prototypes to make certain things const since I
 last fixed the openssl glue code.

 It's probably an autoconf thing not finding the openssl headers/libraries
 correctly.  Unless you can provide more details on reproducing this, it's
 not actionable.
