 I've attached two small programs to check for the FreeBSD jail issue
 (binding to 127.0.0.1 actually binds to another address) and the OpenVZ
 issue (127.0.0.1 is not on a loopback interface).

 I haven't had time to check if they're portable or check their results on
 an actual jail or OpenVZ config yet. But they were written on OS X, so
 they're likely to be close to BSD semantics.
