Comment (by asn):

 Hello,

I like the idea of a mailing list for hidden service operators. I think
 there
is no good space for hidden service operators to ask technical questions
 on how
to setup their infrastructure. [tor-talk] is about users and crazy people,
[tor-relays] is about relays and [tor-dev] is about proposals. Here are
 some
questions that I wouldn't know where to ask:

 - "How to setup load balancing for my hidden service?"
 - "How to make my hidden service scale?"
 - "How to protect my hidden service against DoS?"
 - "What's the best way to setup my infrastructure for hidden services?"
 - "Why hidden service authentication does not work??!?"

I imagine that a mailing list for HS operators would make people more
comfortable asking such questions, and it could also be a place to point
 new
people setting up HSes and wanting tech support. A bit like [tor-relays]
 but
 for hidden services.

What about if we broaden the scope slightly and make it:

List Description: Technical discussion about running Tor onion
 (hidden) services

so that we get posts even from people who have trouble setting up HSes but
don't think of themselves as running a high-volume HS.

 I'm fine with [tor-onions] and [tor-onion-tech].
