 Although our projects seem generic, there are quite some more or less
 subtle differences.

 I guess, I generated the common part for metrics-base now.  It should be
 sufficient to fill the repo and a non-empty one is necessary for
 initializing the git sub-modules correctly.  The other changes will follow
 once metrics-base contains this patch.

 The bootstrapping by executing the correct git commands will have to be
 performed one time and after that an ant task will update the submodule
 without user interference.
