 Ok, version 2.0.0 for metrics-lib this April is fine.
 Should removing the descriptor-impl dependency from metrics-db be part of
 the renaming ticket?

 Well, I think just tagging tickets with keywords is not a strong enough
 coupling for a release.
 There shouldn't be any open child tickets for the release when the parent
 ticket for releasing is closed.
 If for some reason an existing child ticket cannot make it into the
 release it should be orphaned, or better yet closed and cloned as new in
 order to document the decision.

 But, if you find the keyword approach more convenient I'm not insisting.
