 The other reason I'd been pausing here is because of the sensitive nature
 of the donation mail receipts. These are names and email addresses, and
 sometimes postal addresses, of the nice people who choose to donate to us.

 There are plenty of also-nice people on our mailing lists who've
 volunteered to help share the love, but since I don't know them well, I've
 worried that the risk of something going wrong is too high. So I think we
 should weigh the upside of getting some more love to these people, vs the
 downside of cycling through a bunch of people, with a bit more risk each
 time. That is, if we can imagine a good long term plan and imagine a
 reasonable way to get there pretty soon, I think that's better than
 putting a few stop-gap plans in place in the meantime.

 That said, giving somebody the task of "make all of our donors feel the
 love" as one of their eight tasks is very likely to see this one fall back
 the wayside. I know this because I've tried it many times over the years
 and it's never stuck. :) So my current intuition is that doing this right
 involves getting a dedicated person who will do it right.
