Comment:

 Pointing to https://gitweb.torproject.org/tor-browser.git is a good
 alternative: it points to all the changes we made while there is almost no
 need to take care of different Tor Browser versions as there is no version
 component in that link. I am fine as well with pointing to the branch used
 by the latest Tor Browser version, like cypherpunks mentioned above, if
 there is an easy way doing that (not sure about it).
