Comment:

 I'm going to close this ticket -- it is known that there are combinations
 of torrc options that you can pick that will cause Tor to give you that
 warning and exit; the current advice is "then don't do that then".

 If there are commonly used Tor interfaces (e.g. Tor Browser or Orbot) that
 cause Tor to complain and exit, we should fix those. Vidalia is no longer
 such an interface though.
