 I'm trying to fix karsten's comments in teor's branch but the {{{laplace-
 edge-cases}}} branch doesn't contain the commits karsten mentionned and
 some other branch has been merged in it (bug13538-donna-signed-shift).

 teor, would it be possible for you to rebase your test branch on master
 without extra commit in it?
