 I removed homebrew instructions in favour of macports recently because
 their security was super crap :/ I don't know whether that changed, but it
 doesn't really explain its security properties at all. I'm not sure what
 to do, in any case I'm not happy with the wording ("the missing package
 manager for osx" sounds like an advertisement, not a factual description).
 hmm.
