 Kathy Brade and I found some time today to investigate (and reproduce)
 this bug.
 Unfortunately, the "Your add-ons are incompatible" prompt is not the
 result of a network glitch; it may occur for everyone who updates via the
 automatic prompt.  If it is not too late, it would be nice to fix this for
 the TB 4.0 release.
