Comment:

 This is probably going to require somebody with Haiku/BeOS expertise to
 figure out.  The only angle I can think of is to ask whether anything got
 upgraded or changed right before Tor stopped working -- was it a new
 Haiku, a new libevent, a new Tor, or anything like that?
