 The output follows (it does not seem that verbose though, maybe there is
 some debug option I am not aware of):

 Using a clean profile, it magically works. Could it be some conflict with
 another add-on? I am using the following:
 * Enigmail 1.7.2 (PGP)
 * Inverse SOGo Connector 31.0.0 (contact sync)
 * Lightning 3.3.1 (calendars)
 * Messaging Menu and Unity Launcher integration 1.3.1 (automatically
 installed by Ubuntu/Mint)
 So nothing connection- or Tor-related.
