Comment:

 What version of TBB are you using?  Today, 3.6.2 is the newest version.

 If you download the current version of TBB and then install it into a new
 folder, does it start correctly?

 If you start Activity Manager (found in Applications/Utilities), is a
 process named firefox listed?
