 Interesting.  It looks like there's one doomed channel here, it's still
 sending and receiving stuff (since the last read and last transmitted
 parts keep getting updatd), but that it has a huge number of destroy cells
 to send, and they're not getting sent.  Anybody have any good guesses
 here?
