 There is plenty of work to go around and when we have a pool of volunteers
 to help on projects like this I trust no one will be sad. However, to have
 the particular project done in time to be able to use it for the summer
 dev meeting I've been given the OK to hire a designer. Additionally the
 designer I'm working with is familiar and has created conference websites
 most recently for other technology companies, so she knows exactly what we
 need and can execute well.

 January] for help sad. That call did not produce much concrete but there
 is still 100+ subscribers to the www-team mailing list. It's probably
 going to continue not producing anything concrete if we go out to see
 other web designers instead of stating our needs there.
