 Looks mostly okay.

 Three things we need to document in the manpage and the changes file
 (which needs to exist):
   * Why you would want to do this;
   * the fact that the statistics are obfuscated;
   * the fact that the statistics are not only stored to disk but also
 included in the extrainfo document.
