 the future:  disable (show as gray text) the descriptions when the slider
 itself is disabled.

 Thanks. So, what is still needed for the next iteration(s) is:

 -tooltips/help buttons explaining the security levels
 -preferences for disabling SVG and MathML (#12827 and #13548)
 -the test mentioned in comment:57
 -disable descriptions if the slider itself is disabled
 -think about ways to get the slider found easier
 -think about ways to warn the user about messing with slider related
 preferences directly (maybe a dialog with a checkbox to turn it off?)
