 Another thought: if you plan to re-use the docs classes in your tool, we
 should probably extract interfaces from them.  What functionality would
 you need in those?  a) parser from JSON string and b) getters for all
 fields?  (Of course, we'd have to solve the instantiation problem somehow,
 either by adding a factory, or dependency injection, or ...)
