Comment:

 Sounds like you're behind a captive portal that is doing mitm attacks on
 your ssl connections.

 You should either connect to the captive portal (like if this is a hotel
 network connection or something) and convince it to let you through. Or
 you should try the Tor Pluggable Transport Browser Bundle.

 But more generally, this isn't a bug, and trac is for bugs. If you have
